Time to leave Vick alone

When is enough enough?
Reports are that the Philadelphia Eagles are in dicussions with animal rights groups in their area.
For what reason? What is the goal of the discussion?
Granted, Michael Vick is a lightning rod. He committed a heinous crime, which was illegally raising, abusing, and even killing pitbulls.
