Chicago Bulls Ben Gordon will play tonight. Coach Vinny Del Negro made the announcement a few minutes ago after his shooting guard went through his regular pre-game routine.
It should not be a surprise. Gordon made the last big hoop in Game 4, and Game 2 for that matter, and showed no signs of limping.

Although Cincy usually undercoaches up their picks, they are having a nice draft… UConn had three players go on day one, which will help them in recruiting for years to come.
Pats take WR Brandon Tate, a deep threat target for Brady, and a player who could some day replace Moss. However, he has flunked a drug test and has been injured. This could be a very good player for the Pats if he stays clean. New England is having a very interesting [...]
So far no big surprises. Dallas has a lot of picks, but doesn’t seem to be going for quality, taking Jason Williams, OLB, who was slated to be a late round pick… Iowa is a big winner. The more players that go to the NFL, the better it is for your recruiting… Thomas [...]

Pats have traded and have back to back picks now. (Giving up two lower round picks and a swapping a second round pick). They select Ron Brace, DT, BC with the 40th pick. He weighs 330 lbs and stands 6′3″. With the next pick they take Conn’s Darius Butler, DB. [...]
USC LB Rey Maulaluga has finally been picked. He was projected early this year as a mid first rounder. Sadly he went to Cincy.
Denver trades next year’s pick for CB Alphonso Smith. A heady player, but is he worth a first round pick? If Denver finishes poorly Seattle will have a nice top pick next year. Denver will still have another first round pick from the Cutler trade.
There are some quality players going on the top of the second round Brain Robiskie, WR, Ohio State, CHung to NE, and Laurenitis to St. Louis are nice picks.
