Celts tidbits … KG and Marbury

Here are few nuggets as the Celtics prepare for their second “Game of the Century” tomorrow night against the Lakers:
According to a source, Celtics forward Kevin Garnett will play tomorrow night against the Lakers after his severe bout with the flu.
Garnett apparently lost about four pounds over the five days he was out and he may [...]

Seabrook snowboarder

Seabrook’s Scotty Lago is featured in tomorrow’s Daily News. The snowboarder recently placed second at the 2009 X Games in Aspen, Calif. I spoke with Lago’s former manager, who feels the 21-year-old is the top snowboarder in the world…

KG out sick, McHale checks in

First off, Kevin Garnett is out with the flu, Doc Rivers said.
Not sure if Kevin McHale was just putting on a smile for us, but he was pretty funny in his  pregame session.
When asked about Paul Pierce joining the ranks of Celtics legends (he once infamously said Pierce couldn’t hold Larry Bird’s jock), McHale smiled [...]
