Newburyport Area Snow Update

The Newburyport area received 6 inches of new snow today before changing over to freezing rain in the afternoon. This brings our monthly total to 25.50 inches, 9.54 inches above normal, making this January the 10th snowiest since 1956. Thus far this season, we have received 37.50 inches, -17.09 inches below normal, making it the 41st snowiest season since 1956.
