Outside the Lines ran an interview with the late Chris Henry’s girlfriend. For whatever reason, the media has makde this into a hard luck story. His girlfriend was trying to get away from him after a domestic argument broke out. A 911 call reported a shirtless Henry was beating on the driver’s side window with a cast on his arm. It seems that he yelled driver’s behind them were calling the police, and knowing one more arrest would get him bounced forever from the league, he jumped from the truck. I have a hard time feeling sympathy for a guy as troubled and reckless as Henry. I know this is terrible, but there are too many high caliber men in the NFL to feel terribly for a guy who was a blemish on the NFL. I would like to hear your feelings on this.
