DRAFT EVE

USC QB Mark Sanchez will be the key to tomorrow’s draft. Where he is drafted will alter the face of the selections quite a bit. Some teams, such as Washington, may try to move up to try and grab him. Or, Seattle might grab him at four. Or Seattle trades this spot and all bets are off.
Do not be surprised if Arizona WR Anquan Boldin is traded in the hours leading up to the draft. He wants out of the desert and a cache of picks and players might just seal the deal. Don’t be shocked if Tennessee hooks up with the Cardinals for this trade.
It also might be possible Browns WR Braylon Edwards goes to another team right before the draft. I doubt that team will be the Giants though.
Player for picks trades are very infrequent during the draft.
I am curious to see who the player that free-falls down the first round. Every year there is one player this happens to, quite often a QB – Brady Quinn, Matt Leinart, Aaron Rogers.
It will be very interesting to see how much the flunked drug test affects the draft spot of Percy Harvin. I hear that Minnesota is interested in taking him with the 22nd pick overall. Last year that choice belonged to Dallas who took the dynamic RB Felix Jones.
Join me tomorrow and Sunday for coverage of the entire draft.
